About Inez
Registered Homeopath and Lactation Consultant
Inez Hanson is a registered homeopath who is in demand due to her unique understanding of the many health and emotional issues that can be experienced by women, children and men. She has a special interest in fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and natural family healthcare.
After working in the area of training with the government for over 14 years, Inez decided to study homeopathy after being successfully treated for asthma using homeopathic medicine. She became intrigued that a short course of homeopathic medicine allowed her to stop using the asthma medication that she had been taking on a daily basis since childhood. This was the starting point for a five year course in homeopathic medicine and related studies in 2001.
In 2004 Inez qualified as a breastfeeding counsellor with the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA). In her spare time she has been kept busy providing information and support to breastfeeding women and teaching breastfeeding classes for the ABA. In 2009, her breastfeeding knowledge and experience was recognised when she qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). As an IBCLC Inez can provide support and specialised assistance to breastfeeding mothers and their babies.
She has a special interest in natural fertility management and treats infertility with a unique homeopathic fertility program that has a success rate of 87% within 4 cycles.
Inez is mother to three gorgeous children (two sons and a daughter) who have given her first hand insight into the many issues faced by parents, babies, toddlers and children.
Inez is a very caring and understanding practitioner who seeks to combine her knowledge and experience to provide professional and effective homeopathic care and breastfeeding support.
Inez is registered with the Australian Register of Homeopaths (AROH) and is a professional member of both the Australian Homoeopathic Association (AHA) and the Australian Lactation Consultants Association (ALCA). She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a qualified breastfeeding counsellor with the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) and holds a Certificate IV in Breastfeeding Education (Counselling). She is the current Queensland Vice President of the Australian Homoeopathic Association (AHA) and is a blue card holder (issued by the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian).
